Located right on the waterfront of beautiful Qualicum Bay, the Lighthouse Motel is the perfect location any time of year to esape from life's stresses and relax. Our property fronts directly on the ocean overlooking the Strait of Georgia, Hornby Island  and the snow capped Coastal Mountain Range.

From fresh blooms in the Spring, surf and warm sunshine in the Summer, the solitude and quiet of the fall season and the magnificence of the winter storms in the Winter – our location has it all!

We are centrally located to some of the best scenery and outdoor activities in Canada! A Golfer's paradise, Kayaker’s dream, Hiker’s heaven, and for Fishing – the possibilities are endless!  Even guests who don't fish for salmon, will feel inclined to do some beachcombing for fresh oysters or clams. And for those who just want to enjoy the warm sea air, sit back in our wonderful Muskoka chairs on the expansive seawall and enjoy a good book or just take in the view, along with the eagles, kingfishers, herons and other wildlife we have the privilege of watching.

For arts lovers, our local communities are  rich in theatre, art galleries, and crafts.

Only 2 hours from Victoria, 45 minutes from the Nanaimo Ferry Terminal, 25 minutes from Parksville, 12 minutes from Qualicum Beach, 45 minutes from Courteny/Comox, 1 hour from Campbell River and 2 hours from Tofino and Ucluelet - you don’t have to go far to get away!

The large lawn area is the place to enjoy a game of croquet or bocce with picnic tables, umbrellas, lounge chairs and hammocks large enough for two! We provide barbeques for our guests and an outside fire place overlooking the water for evening camp fires.  The motel invites guests to use the badminton or croquet sets, or to challenge other guests to a lively game of the popular 'bean bag toss'.
