Oceanview Suite #1

This ground level suite is complete with a full size stove, fridge, microwave, dishes, cutlery and other kitchen amenities for guests who may want to have a kitchen area. A small dining area and living area with sofa and flat screen t.v. provide for a comfortable stay. The sofa converts to a double bed. The bedroom is private and has a lovely queen pillow top bed, fresh linens and a dresser. This unit has a bathroom with tub/shower, toilet and sink.

This ground level unit provides a queen size pillow top bed and a window overlooking our garden and the sea. Fresh cotton linens make for an inviting place to get a good night’s rest. The unit has a glass doored enclosed shower in the bathroom. Unit amenities also include: a small fridge, kettle, teapot, coffee maker and a flat screened television.  This unit provides excellent value and is cozy and inviting.

Unit amenities also include: a small fridge, kettle, teapot, coffee maker.  As with all of our units, this unit also has a flat screened television. This unit provides excellent value and is cozy and inviting.

Oceanview Suite #4

This is our most popular suite primarily because it is located closest to the ocean.  There is a private 4 piece bathroom with a queen size pillow top bed and a 3 piece bathroom with tub/shower, toilet and sink. The kitchen area has a fridge, stove and all the amenities so our guests can enjoy meals in the unit. The living room has a sofa that makes into a queen sofa bed.

Georgia #5

The Georgia Suite is often requested by guests who enjoy the semi-private patio area overlooking the Strait of Georgia. This one bedroom suite has a queen pillowtop bed, (many guests rave about the wonderful sleep they have in this bed), a small fridge, a coffee maker/tea pot, and a large bathroom.  This suite is a favourite of our guests who seek a special get-away.

Rose Trellis #6

The Rose Trellis Suite features a pillow top queen bed, a comfortable double futon, a full bathroom, a dining table, and a small kitchen area. The kitchenette area does not have a stove, however it does contain a small fridge, a sink, dishes, a coffee maker, kettle, teapot, microwave and complimentary coffee and tea. This suite has been recently renovated and gets a lot of natural light. There is a semi-private patio with an oceanview.

Maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (The futon easily sleeps two children; 2 adults would be somewhat ‘tight’)

Our Policies

General Policies
  • Rates are based on double-occupancy
  • Each additional person is $30.00 per night per person
  • Fire codes only allow units 2, 3 and 5 to have a maximum occupancy of 2 guests
  • Children under the age of 11 stay for free;
  • All units are non-smoking. A cleaning fee of $300.00 will be charged to guests that smoke in the rooms
  • Please note that the Lighthouse Motel no longer offers pet friendly rooms
  • Monthly rates for shoulder season and winter are available upon request
Cancellation Policy
  • No charge if you cancel within 24 hours of making a booking.
  • If you cancel more than 7 days before your arrival date, a $35.00 administration fee will be deducted from your deposit and the balance of the deposit will be refunded.
  • If you cancel 6 days or less before your arrival date, a $35.00 administration fee will be deducted from your deposit and your deposited will not be refunded.
  • If you made a nonrefundable reservation and you cancel for any reason, regardless of how much notice given in respect of your cancelled reservation, there will be no refund of the amount paid.
CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT
  • The Lighthouse Motel does not have an on site manager however we endeavour to be available from 11:00 a.m. until 5 p.m.
  • If a guest requires immediate assistance they can contact the owner at 250 757 8765.
  • Check in is 3:00 p.m. If you unit is available earlier we will try to text you to let you know that we can accommodate an earlier check in time.
  • Check out is 11:00 a.m. When possible we can accommodate late check outs but please appreciate that during the summer season when we are busier late check outs may not be possible.
  • If you wish to have an early check in or late check out time please contact the owner by email at info@lighthouservpark.ca.
Booking & Payment Policies
  • The Lighthouse Motel has a booking deposit of $50.00 for each unit booked.
  • The deposit is applied to the final balance due.
  • Payment of the balance due on your reservation is due on arrival. We accept debit cards, Visa and Mastercard. We do not accept Discover or American Express.
  • For long term bookings (30 days or longer) a damage deposit of $500.00 is required to be paid at the time of check in. If the unit is left in a tidy, clean and undamaged condition on the date of departure the damage deposit is refunded.
  • If you book for 30 days, payment of the full amount for your stay is required upon your arrival. If you are required to leave early there is no refund of any partial amount of the monthly amount paid under any circumstances.
  • Please refer to the Motel’s Cancellation Policy in respect of any refund of the deposit.
Pet Policies
  • Please note that the Lighthouse Motel no longer offers pet friendly rooms
WINTER AND SHOULDER SEASON RATES
  • Please contact the Lighthouse Motel directly to enquire about winter and shoulder season monthly rates.
  • A 50% deposit on the first months charge is required to be paid at the time of booking.
  • The deposit is deducted from the first months charge.
  • Payment of the balance due is paid on arrival.
  • If for any reason the monthly reservation is cancelled the 50% deposit will be forfeited.
  • The Lighthouse Motel does not refund a guest for any amounts if the guest has an early departure date. (for clarity: if you book a unit for January and pay for the month but have to leave on January 25, the motel does not refund any payment on a per diem basis for the days the guest does not occupy the unit due to the guests’ early departure).
  • No pets are allowed in the unit for winter and shoulder season stays.
  • We do not provide housekeeping services for monthly guests. In the event that housekeeping services are requested, our billing rate is $35.00 per hour with a $25.00 minimum charge.
  • We provide monthly guests with toilet paper, paper towels, clean kitchen linens and bathroom towels once a week. Bed sheets are changed every two weeks.
  • We are unable to provide laundry services for guests.
QUIET TIME
  • We ask that guests respect the other guests’ right to privacy and quiet time.  Guests can sit on the seawall in the evening and until 11:00 p.m. provided they are quiet: no loud noises or loud music.  The mangers reserve the right to asks boisterous or noisy guests to leave the seawall area if it is after 10:00 p.m. and there are other guest complaints.
SMOKING CIGARETTES, MARIJUANE AND VAPING & ILLEGAL DRUG USE
  • All units are NON SMOKING of any tobacco or non-tobacco product.
  • There is NO VAPING allowed in any of the units.
  • Smoking or Vaping in the units will result in a $300.00 charge being applied to your credit card and you may be asked to leave the unit, with no refund at management’s sole and absolute discretion.
  • Smoking is allowed on the southeast corner of the seawall. There is an ashtray there and we request that the guests NOT EMPTY THE ASHTRY ON THE SEAWALL. If it is full please let management know and we will dispose of the cigarette butts and ashes.
  • Marijuana: While smoking marijuana may be legal, the owner of the Lighthouse Motel does not allow guests to smoke marijuana in the units or anywhere on the Lighthouse Motel property. The odour of marijuana can be very strong and it is our policy that use of this substance cannot be allowed outside on the property or inside the units.
  • If you have purchased marijuana and it is in your luggage, we request that you leave the purchased marijuana in your vehicle. There have been occasions where guests have purchased marijuana and while it is packaged the strength of the substance is so strong that the odour leaks out and makes the unit smell like marijuana.
  • While regrettable that this policy must even be stated, there is zero tolerance for illegal drug use in the units or anywhere on the Lighthouse Motel property. This includes but is not limited to cocaine, methamphetamines, psychedelic drugs, mushrooms, fentanyl.
  • If a guest is found to be using illegal drugs the guest will immediately be evicted from the Unit and the Lighthouse Motel property. This is a hard and fast rule: no exceptions will be made. The owner reserves the right to contact the RCMP if such intervention is deemed to be required for the safety of the other guests and the property.
